New mini site launched for people living with HIV (1/12/08)
NAM has just launched www.namlife.org, a brand new mini site about living with HIV. Whether you have been recently diagnosed, have lived with HIV for a while, know someone who is, or just want to find out more then namlife will have something for you.
This site is still in development so if you have any feedback about how we could improve the site, we would love to hear from you.
NAM would like to thank the Peter Moores Foundation for its generous support with this project.

We would love to hear from you.
NAM is committed to sharing information and increasing access to our materials. We already provide a range of information and news bulletins in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Russian. 10 things it's good to know about HIV treatment (1/9/08)
NAM has just produced a new resource called ’10 things it’s good to know about HIV treatment’. Badged by the Plain English Campaign, this discreet credit-card sized resource, available in both English and French, has been specially designed to help answer important early questions about HIV treatment clearly and simply. NAM hopes this resource will be a valuable resource after a new diagnosis or at times when other information can seem overwhelming.
If you are an individual personally affected by HIV and would like to receive this resource, please do get in touch
If you represent an organisation that gives out information to your patient/client group, you will be eligible to receive this new resource free of charge. For more information, please ring Laura on 020 7840 0050 or email info@nam.org.uk for more details.
NAM attends AIDS 2008 Conference in Mexico City with gTt (11/8/08)
A team of NAM staff recently attended the International AIDS Conference in Mexico City from the 1st to the 8th of August. Taking place every two years, the IAC is one of the largest conferences of its kind and brings together clinicians, NGOs and pharmaceutical companies from across the world for discussion of the issues and developments in HIV.
Reporting directly from the sessions, our editors produced high quality daily email news bulletins on the latest global research and debate. To read these conference bulletins, available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and French, click here
Working in partnership with gTt, a community based HIV organisation in Spain, NAM also met delegates from all over the world and distributed our resources from our shared stand in the Exhibition Hall. Conferences such as IAC offer NAM a unique opportunity to share information and forge excellent working relationships with organisations from all over the world.
NAM would like to thank the team from gTt for working so hard and helping us to learn some Spanish! NAM hopes to build on this relationship in the future, which has already allowed us to widen access to our range of resources.
