Information events

NAM runs regular events for people living with HIV, and also for HIV professionals and volunteers.

Information Forums

NAM runs a series of information events each year, particularly aimed at those living with HIV, on a range of topics from conference feedback to healthy living. These 'forums' are a chance to come and hear from the experts, ask questions and discuss.

The last forum was on Tues 18th November. Simon Collins from i-Base and Silvia Petretti from Positively Women looked back at the key developments and debates in 2008 and looked ahead to what might shape the future of HIV in the UK in 2009 and beyond. Click here for more details.

The next forum will be held early 2009. Topic and location to be announced shortly. To find out more please email info@nam.org.uk or telephone 020 7840 0050.

Clinical Symposia

Bringing professionals together to share and discuss best practice in the management of HIV is something NAM is passionate about. To this end, every year NAM holds a Clinical Symposium, where HIV professionals and volunteers from every sphere come together to hear from the experts and share knowledge and best practice.

The next Clinical Symposium will be held in May 2009 on the topic of 'Treatment as Prevention'. More details will be announced nearer the time and advertised on www.aidsmap.com
